Macro Fibers

The project explores unpurposed Swedish wool as a biodegradable solution for removing oil and heavy metals from small boat harbors. By combining research, design, and traditional craftsmanship, it develops a reusable absorbent that offers a circular alternative to fossil-based materials. The work highlights how an underutilized local resource can help reduce pollution, minimize waste, and contribute to cleaner, more sustainable water environments.
