In 2022, Sebastian partnered with Edsbyverken and together with two other group members explored circular opportunities within their production. Discovering that over 30% of materials were discarded and burned, we developed Landa, made from 100% upcycled waste sourced directly from their facilities. Through pigment and heat pressure, the material was transformed with new properties, extending its lifecycle and challenging conventional views on waste and manufacturing.
